We here at Visions Federal Credit Union are very pleased and proud to introduce a new generation of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) technology in collaboration with our partner Diebold, Inc. Visions has been a leader in automation for the past three decades from when we were the only ones to handle checks and credit cards, electronic payments, cash checks down to the penny and provide the rich set of features and options when doing business 24 hours per day.

Introducing Visions new Opteva ATM machine
Visions Federal Credit Union is unveiling a new, state of the art ATM machine, called Opteva. The Opteva is on the cutting edge of technology, and it is the ultimate in today’s ATM machines. This new Opteva ATM machine can be seen in the main lobby at Credit Union Center located on Country Club Road in Endwell. This same type of ATM is also coming soon to our Visions Town Square Mall office. At Town Square we will showcase 3 new drive-up and 2 new walk-up Opteva ATM machines for additional member service and convenience along the Vestal Parkway Route 434.

New Features of the Opteva ATM

The Opteva ATM has a list of new features that it has to offer, such as:

1. No holds on cash deposits! The Optevas are equipped with a bin that opens and will read and count up to 100 bills of varying denominations, confirm the amount with you and then deposit in the account you choose.
2. No envelope deposits, checks and cash are deposited directly into the machine.
3. Large easy to use keypad buttons.
4. State of the art flat screen monitor.
5. Security mirrors are mounted on the top of the machine so you can see behind you while you are using the ATM.
6. Membership entry cards or credit cards are not obtained by the machine, simply slide the card in and out of the card reader.
7. Checks that are deposited into the ATM are imaged and the image of the check that has been deposited into the ATM will be printed at the bottom of your ATM transaction receipt, for easy reference.
8. Flashing lights indicate different operational processes while at the ATM. For example, when you first go to operate the machine the card reader flashes. When depositing a check, the check depositor lights up. If cash is being dispensed from the machine then the cash dispenser will light up. When the transaction is finalized then the light near the receipt printer will flash.
9. Cash from the machine is dispensed directly in front of the member versus to one side of the machine, for security purposes.
10. There is no coin dispenser on the Opteva ATM so all coin from checks cashed at the machine will be deposited directly into the member’s savings account for your convenience, and any bills from the cashed check are dispensed to you as usual.
