In an effort to provide better security and protection of member information online, we are going to follow a new best practice in the financial industry that is called "Two Factor Authentication". This is a must for credit unions and banks that provide online banking. This will enhance the existing online banking (VisionLine) account number and password combination by also validating the "credentials" of the typical computer that you use to access the online banking system. We are currently working on the project and we will ask you to input a challenge question and answer in case you are on a different computer that you typically use to login. Thus we will further assure that you are the valid user of the account and that we protect against unauthorized access. This is a new standard in the industry for account protection and we expect this to be implemented in 4Q of this year.
