Visions Federal Credit Union is currently analyzing the recent guideline from FFIEC regarding Two Factor Authentication for online banking. We plan to solicit recommendations regarding the affect on online banking from NCUA, CUNA, CUES and other Credit Union Industry bodies that typically provide guidelines for technology related topics. Then we will review and analyze this for our own usage and compliance, taking into account our own architecture and member usage. As you may know, at this point FFIEC does not endorse any specific technology solution regarding enhanced authentication for web site usage and there are several options in this area. We want to thank those of you that have provided feedback on this topic and it has been noted for analysis. We will be communicating our thoughts and resolution to this in the upcoming months.
